Last Sunday I had the pleasure of having Roger in the shop to pick up a set of our Wagner Tuben mutes for their Firebird suite. One of the few works that require a mute for the WT and obviously, ours are the best. Thank you Roger, St Louis Symphony and all the other orchestras who are using them!

Good morning y’all! Last täèstÿ espresso before leaving to Romania to spend time with my mom and bro. It’s been two years. I will be back on 8/5 in the shop but Balu Musik is not close. My two amazing assistants are available for drop off and all available things on the website will be promptly shipped thanks to them. For those waiting for the horns, thank you for your patience, I can’t let things out of my hands until I think they are as good as they can be. I delayed my departure by one week to finish work and my mom was like bro wut be happening???
Can’t wait to see them and eat über organic food, (they use zero chemicals in the garden!!!) and participate in the daily ritual of w**d plucking.

Y’all, wish I was at IHS but the next best thing is sending the Primus. Go to Ken’s booth and play this sorcery. It’s why when I got the calls I grabbed it and walked on stage confident that the horn is there so it’s up for me to deliver. Which obviously I did.

Y’all, the Holidays are almost here and if you need to practice at home you know you need the best practice mute money can buy. It cuts 25-32db (depending if you play Mozart or Mahler) and ain’t got no funny notes around the registers. We have very few of them in red mahogany and onyx. This way that cat who just likes to take a nap and stay toasty is not like, ughh, why are you playing the tuba??? I know, I know, I’m exceptional at memes but they are a bit from a decade ago.
Many thanks to those very patient with our Gandalf-level repair. I have issues letting things go until they are the absolute best they can be.
