Chicago Duplicate Bridge

For the second year in a row, District 13 has won Flight C Grand National Teams, with players who are regulars at Chicago Duplicate Bridge. Ben Fisk captained a team of Rahul Garga, and Manmit and Ranmit Pantle.

Thanks to all the Tuesday and Thursday night players for toughening up these players, and showing New York who is boss (they withdrew after the first quarter in the final).

Please congratulate them when you see them - we are very proud of their achievement against some very respectable competition, and the hard they work they put into this success.

Message from CDB President

We are very excited to announce that CDB will be moving to the Century Mall, 2828 N. Clark, effective July 31th. We are taking over the former Victoria's Secret space on the second floor, which will give us approximately 2800 square feet of open playing space. There will be bathrooms roughly 30 feet from the front door and we have arranged for parking at just $6 for 4 hours or $8 for five hours.

We will be moving out of Dearborn Station the day of July 31st and will have a "soft opening" for our regular Thursday night game in the new digs. The Friday games will definitely be on.

While negotiations with the Century took longer than we thought they would, it seems committed to working with us to develop a long term relationship.
