We are pleased to welcome Kim Jones as an advisor.
Kim brings nearly three decades of frontline law enforcement experience, having served for 27 years as a Courthouse Deputy with the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office. Her work focused on judicial and institutional security, investigations, warrants, and maintaining safety in high-pressure environments where sound judgment and restraint are critical.
Following her law enforcement career, Kim continued her public service in school-based security roles, working directly in educational environments to support student safety, assist staff, and mentor students. She has also held roles within court systems and other trust-based institutions, reinforcing her deep understanding of how safety operates on the ground.
Kim brings a calm, practical, and people-first perspective to security, shaped by real-world experience rather than theory. We’re grateful to have her guidance as an advisor.

In schools, 5 seconds can change everything. Same loud bang, two very different timelines. In many active-shooter events, it takes around 5 minutes on average just to call 911 after the first shot.
SplitSec.AI is designed to shrink that to about 15 seconds from BANG → alert on staff phones → earlier action, with 100% on-device processing (no cloud audio, no recordings).

We’re thrilled to welcome James Dunleavy to our Advisory Council.
James brings decades of experience in law enforcement, school safety, emergency response, and threat assessment, including his tenure as a Pennsylvania State Police Trooper and his work in the private sector with various safety tech organizations.
From the first time we spoke, it was clear that James carries a deep practitioner’s understanding of the gaps that exist today - and the importance of fast, privacy-first gunshot detection that supports people when seconds truly matter.
His real-world experience on the front lines will help shape SplitSec in a way that is responsible, grounded in reality, and genuinely useful for the professionals who respond in those critical moments.
