Last week, we hosted our Filmmaking Crash Course Summer Camp. Campers received a hands-on introduction to the world of filmmaking, learning everything from screenwriting and storyboarding to cinematography and editing using professional cameras, microphones, and editing software. 🎬

Throughout the week, students collaborated to create their own short films and wrapped up camp with a special screening of their projects on the big screen in the Theatre. 🎥

Missed this camp? There’s still plenty of summer left! St. Pat’s is offering a variety of camps throughout the season in athletics, engineering, fine arts, and more. Register today at stpatrick.org/camps. ☘️

In reflecting back upon another remarkable year at 5900 W. Belmont, we are reminded that every early morning, late night, challenge and triumph lead to this… faith, tradition, and brotherhood for life.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026, and to all of our Shamrocks on a fantastic year. Have a wonderful summer! ☘️

Twelve Shamrocks recently spent nine days exploring Costa Rica through an ACIS (American Council for International Studies) educational travel experience, led by Ms. Oliva and Mr. Cashman. ✈️

The trip gave students the opportunity to experience Latin American culture firsthand while making memories that will last a lifetime, visiting a town only accessible by boat, swimming in volcanic hot springs, ziplining through the rainforest, surfing, hiking, preparing local food, and even seeing both the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean. 🌎

Experiences like these help our students learn beyond the classroom and see the world from a new perspective. The Language & Culture Department hopes to continue offering more travel opportunities with ACIS in the future. ☘️

Congratulations to recent Class of 2026 grad, Diego Alvarado, on being named a recipient of the prestigious George M. Pullman Foundation Scholarship!

Awarded to a select group of students from across Cook County each year, the Pullman Scholarship provides financial support and access to a strong network of scholars and professionals. Diego will use the scholarship to continue his education at DePaul University this fall.

We’re especially proud to share that Saint Patrick faculty member and alum Dr. Michael Glynn ’13 is also a Pullman Scholar. Pictured together at the annual Pullman Scholar Symposium, Dr. Glynn had the honor of welcoming Diego into the community. ☘️
