I called Demi for Illinois to congratulate her on winning the Democratic primary here in the ☘️lucky☘️ 13th & to wish her my best in the general election.

I love my neighborhood & the neighborhoods of this district, and I look forward to working with her in the future. I am so extremely grateful for the more than 1,400 Chicagoans who put their faith in me, and the countless more who told me I was their second or third choice 😅

Countless thousands of doors knocked & postcards sent, and almost 500 individual donors - not so bad for nobody that nobody sent 😉

Good evening & happy election eve, Illinois! After a long, hard primary, we're just 24 hours out from having the first results rolling in.

I wanted to take a moment to address a major inaccuracy in a popular voter guide: Girl, I Guess. I've turned to GIG in many elections in the past, and I appreciate their usually thorough reporting. But their claims that I have "largely stopped campaigning" are patently false. I've reached out to their team to no response.

I'm in this race to send a new generation's voice to Springfield, and to fight for real, concrete policy improvements that make our city and state more affordable, accessible, and equitable. I'm not another lawyer, lobbyist, or insider - I'm a former organizer, government data analyst, and youth sports coach running because I love our city and the incredible neighborhoods of the 13th District. And I hope to earn your vote tomorrow.

It's Friday the 13th here in the ☘️lucky☘️ 13th District, and with just 4 days until election day, I want to say how lucky I am to have so many incredible volunteers on this campaign.

This is a grassroots, people-powered campaign - and we're working every day to earn your vote :)

Proud to announce the support of 44th Ward Action!

“Ridge is the youngest candidate int his race and his platform is progressive without ifs, thens and buts. It spans from affordability, to housing, addressing homelessness, public transportation, energy, immigration, education, LGBTQ rights, healthcare, big tech, election reform and progressive revenue. In this race, our vote is for Ridge.”

Big Tech spiked your ComEd bills last year, and now they’re trying to buy this race.

Illinois' Democratic primary (nine days away) has overshadowed another big day for me: my birthday! And while I do hate to step on the toes of International Womens' Day, there's not much say I have in the matter.

While I would still be the youngest state rep in Chicago, it would now be at 28. And you can help make that happen:

Honored to have the support/certification of so many groups of, for, and by young voters across Chicago & across the country. The politics of the past are broken — we need a new generation’s voice in Springfield.

As Uptown Loses Another SRO, Low-Income Renters Forced To Leave Area: 'Rent Is Skyrocketing' 03/06/2026

Yet another SRO closing in Uptown. For all the discussion of housing this election season, we must include housing options like SROs that are often "a last opportunity for many before homelessness".

At a time when the state continues to cut funding for homeless services ($37M in cuts since FY25!), we need more folks standing up for those who need our help most:

As Uptown Loses Another SRO, Low-Income Renters Forced To Leave Area: 'Rent Is Skyrocketing' The Chatelaine is the second SRO in Uptown to be sold or close due to building conditions since December. There are fewer and fewer places for their low-income residents to turn for housing — and some may end up on the street.

We're tired of big money in our politics, whether that's SuperPACs, big-money self-funding, or Illinois' convoluted rules to benefit those already in power.

As the next state representative in HD-13, I am committed to meaningful electoral & campaign finance reforms, including (but not limited to) ranked-choice voting, public financing of elections, closing campaign finance loopholes, and getting big money out of our politics.

Early voting has opened across the city! Sharing here my closing remarks from last night's candidate forum in my race for state representative. We need a new generation of leaders in Springfield - and I hope to earn your vote.
