Say hello to Big Tex.

I rescued Big Tex from a Texas breeder. He was born with a cleft lip and palate. Just like his big brother, Little Leo. Both are French Bulldogs.

Big Tex got introduced to children at the Dallas Children’s Craniofacial Association retreat. He loved all the attention!

Little Leo and Big Tex are great dogs. Thank you to both dog breeders that made sure they were given good homes. Like children, dogs can be born with cleft lip and/or palate. As you can see, they are thriving and provide unconditional love.

Thank you to all the dog rescues that specialize in saving these puppies born with cleft lip and/or palate.

I was born with a cleft lip and palate. Having two dogs born with a cleft lip and palate has made my life so wonderful.

Several children I know that were born with a cleft lip were able to rescue a puppy born with a cleft lip. What a magical thing!
