As you’ve probably heard, Pinwheel is moving down the street, and we’ve got a lot of stuff that won’t make cut at the new space. So, all of the vinyl and CDs that aren’t making the move with us are going to be 50% off! There are deals to be had, and treasures to be unearthed.

Fixtures will also be available for purchase, and we’ll dig through our poster archive so you can jazz up your home.

ALSO!!!!!! If you have any special orders for new vinyl and CDs, this is your last call to put em in. We’ll submit our order to our distributor Thursday morning, so DM us your requests NOW!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

After 10+ years, the time has come to move on from Pinwheel 1.0 and upgrade to Pinwheel 2.0!

We are thrilled to tell you that we’re staying on 18th street, just a few blocks east of the current location! It puts us closer to the heart of Pilsen, while still keeping us near all of our friends and neighbors we’ve made at 1722.

We’re still cleaning up from the flooding at the current location, but we hope to have the store presentable next week so we can liquidate older inventory and sell off fixtures that we won’t need at the new spot.

From there, we’ll get to work building up 2.0, with the expectation that we’ll be ready to go sometime in March.

The website is still on, and we’ve still got plenty of great records at !

When catastrophe strikes Pinwheel, who we gonna call?!? THE HOMIES AT !!!

Yep. When the literal floodgates opened at the shop Sunday morning and we realized we were facing a significant amount time with the shop closed, Sam and Liz reached out and offered us a temporary home for some of our vinyl. We’re unsure how long we’ll be rebuilding Pinwheel, but TDJ has ensured us that as long as our doors are closed, our vinyl will be available with them.

So, if you were looking for an excuse to FINALLY visit our favorite toy store, now you’ve got one! We’ll be restocking regularly, and taking special order requests. You’ll even see us behind the counter occasionally!

Seriously, we’re honored to know such kind folks willing to lend us a hand as 2025 continues to land below-the-belt punches, and we’re gonna do everything we can to get the shop up and running again soon!
