Trees are vital. As the biggest plants on the planet, they give us oxygen, store carbon, stabilise the soil and give life to the world's Wildlife. They also provide us with the materials for tools and shelter. 🌱🌿

Flowers are more profitable as a crop than vegetables per square foot of growing space. This is the perfect use for vacant land that, sadly, due to contaminants, is not suitable for vegetable growing. When you buy flowers, consider asking your florist if the flowers are local. If you think about flower blooms like you think about, or consume, food - seasonally, tied to a moment in a cycle - local flowers are as beautiful as any grown around the world - and they don’t need to be shipped in a refrigerated container.
