Hey Neighbor! Garden Karaoke Nights are here.

Join us every Tuesday from July 28 through September 8, from 6 PM to 9 PM, at 7601 S Saginaw.

We’re bringing the neighborhood together for evenings of music, laughter, connection, and community in the garden. This is a chance to gather with neighbors of all ages, enjoy the summer, and make space for joy right where we live.

You do not have to be a singer to come. Just come as you are, bring a neighbor, bring a friend, bring family, and enjoy the evening with us.

Hey Neighbor!: Housing Help Saturdays

We’re Bringing Back Our “Hey Neighbor!” Community Walk and Talk — and We Need Volunteers!

For years, our community walks have been a simple but powerful way to connect with neighbors, build relationships, and show a positive presence in our neighborhood.

We are preparing to relaunch our weekly “Hey Neighbor!” Walk and Talk, where community members walk and talk together through the neighborhood, greet neighbors, and help strengthen the spirit of community one block at a time.

To make this successful and sustainable, we are looking for volunteers to help plan, organize, and participate.

Volunteer opportunities include:

* Helping plan walk routes
* Welcoming new volunteers
* Greeting neighbors
* Supporting outreach and recruitment
* Helping with safety and follow-up
* Walking with the group each week

Before we officially relaunch, we are inviting interested community members to meet virtually, share ideas, and help shape the plan.

"Hey Neighbor!” Community Walk and Talk Volunteer Recruiting Meeting Join us online to chat, connect, and sign up as a volunteer for the "Hey Neighbor!" community walk!

Please do not share or respond to the Tennessee State University / Meharry scholarship flyer currently circulating online unless it can be verified directly through official TSU or Meharry websites.
The flyer asks students to send information to a personal Gmail address rather than an official university email or application portal, which is a significant red flag. Legitimate university scholarships are normally handled through official .edu websites and admissions offices.
