Counseling First has finished their mission here in Chicago. We r closed as of 3/28.

We had served approximately 2000 clients. We survived on client fees only!,and a few small grants. I had a few coaches and interns to help over the yrs. They will always be remembered. Mark and I ran the business and served the DUI, reentry clients and we also made sure probation and parole had the documents they needed. We collaborated with several other states.

Currently we are assisting, mentoring "Party Per Purpose" a teen center in Brighten Park. In light of the immigration issue,the teen center is a model of how some young people learn not to fear ice or the law ect. They give it to God. (the media tells a different story).

We want to thank New Life church for helping us move out of our office. (they did the job in 2 hrs flat!!! ) We donated most of the office furniture to the teen center.

God bless all those that we worked with over the yrs.

Counseling First will close on 3/28. We will repurpose Veteren youth Corp to another state.

Pray for me friends as I have developed a health issue that I did not see coming. My mission will continue as God will call me to the task.

I thank all of my clients and collegues that inspired me, kept me going through good times and bad.

Mark and I am open to contracts or consulting. We have done just about everything with many agency in several states.
