150 North Riverside Plaza was honored to host the first-ever Tunnel to Towers Stair Climb in Chicago, bringing participants together to climb 50 floors in memory of the 343 firefighters and emergency personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.
From the first step to the final floor, the day reminded us of courage, sacrifice, and the importance of remembering those who gave everything.
We were proud to open our doors and our building for this meaningful event.
Thank you to Tunnel to Towers, the climbers, volunteers, and everyone who helped make Chicago’s first Stair Climb a day to remember.
The ensemble is warming up! Free concerts today 12pm-1pm and 6pm-8pm in the lobby of 150 N Riverside Plaza. Enjoy live chamber music conducted by Grammy-nominated composer Chris Zuar and painted animation by artist Anne Beal!

This Friday, 150 Media Stream is partnering with the DePaul Experimental Film Club for an evening of experimental media works from the installation’s growing archive. The program will be guided by video artist and installation curator Yuge Zhou, who will discuss her approach to curation, the technology behind the installation wall, and the newest exhibition, “Four Techspressionist Artists”.

Today, students from two ‘Intro to Animation’ classes at DePaul University visited the 150 Media Stream. Both classes, led by artist Selina Trepp, checked out our current and past animated projects by Trepp, Klaus, and Leopoldo Gout, as well as our upcoming collaborative work by Laura Harrison and Lilli Carré. There was a great discussion among the students and curator Yuge Zhou about how to commission and program a public art installation within the context of a commercial office building. We are looking forward to welcoming more classes in the coming weeks 🫶
