⚠️ IMPORTANT ⚠️
Railroad crossing closure at Ozanam (Canfield) and Olmsted that will impact traffic in the area.

The State of Illinois and Union Pacific Railroad will be closing the crossing beginning Monday, September 14, to allow for state and federal upgrades and repairs to the crossing.

📅 Project Dates
September 14 – September 28

While the project is currently scheduled to be completed by September 28, residents should expect possible delays and changes to traffic patterns, including increased traffic on surrounding streets as drivers seek alternate routes.

We strongly encourage everyone who regularly travels through this intersection to plan ahead, allow additional travel time, and completely change your normal route when possible during the closure.

We will continue to monitor the project and provide updates as additional information becomes available.

🎬 MOVIES IN THE PARK UPDATE …

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Chicago Park District’s Movies in the Park division has canceled tonight’s event.

We are just as disappointed as everyone else and know many of you were looking forward to a fun night at Brooks Park with family and friends.

But we’re not going to let the disappointment stop us!  In lieu of tonight’s cancellation, we’re already planning to bring something EXTRA special to Brooks Park this winter! ❄️✨
