Wine-focused Chicago restaurant featuring Midwestern takes on Mediterranean dining classics. avec has been a Chicago favorite for over 19 years.
Originally conceived as a wine bar, avec is the second concept from celebrated One Off Hospitality. While wine still remains at avec’s core, the rustic menu features ingredients from valued local purveyors for weekend brunch and dinner service seven days week. The wine list, while extensive, remains moderately priced and draws primarily from boutique vineyards in Southwestern Europe.

after 20+ years, avec west loop is getting a little refresh. we will be closed starting next wednesday, june 29–july 1 and we will reopen july 2nd — same avec, just better. see you soon! 💚
