103 vs. 16,000.
That's Lightspeed's publicly listed integrations vs. the Shopify App Store. Roughly a 155x difference.
The reason is structural. A developer building for Lightspeed has to choose between 10 separate products, each needing its own integration. A developer building for Shopify writes one integration and reaches 3+ million merchants.
Our new guide covers why Lightspeed to Shopify POS has become one of the most common migrations CQL performs, what the move looks like, and where Shopify POS is and isn't a fit.

Still running Oracle Xstore POS? Here's what merchants are weighing before they switch:
Xstore isn't broken. But keeping it running takes more time, money, and workarounds every year. That gap is why more merchants are moving to Shopify POS.
Our new guide breaks down what that move actually looks like: when it makes sense, how long it takes, and where Shopify POS is (and isn't) the right fit.

8x increase in conversion.
Shoppers want that in-store experience, and we've all been there - trying on one pair of glasses after the next in a store and looking in the mirror to see how it looks. Eyemart Express has a virtual experience that allows the same functionality, and shoppers that interact with the virtual try on convert 8x higher.
Think clothing, makeup, jewelry, furniture & home decor - the possibilities are endless in creating more engaging experiences that convert. Is it worth the investment? Ask Eyemart Express 😎

POS and NetSuite SuiteCommerce InStore reach end of life in January 2029. That sounds far off, but merchants with multiple locations, ERP dependencies, or custom in-store workflows need to start planning now.
In our latest NetSuite POS & SCIS migration guide we cover:
- When to start your transition (CQL recommends a production launch by May 2027, well ahead of EOL and clear of Q4 disruption)
- Realistic implementation timelines by store count, from 2 months for small fleets to 18 months for 350+ locations
- A feature-by-feature comparison of POS vs. NS SCIS vs. NS POS
- Where Shopify POS is a strong fit, and where it isn't
- What to expect from customization, ERP integration, data migration, and hardware
If you're on NetSuite POS or SCIS and weighing your options, this is the guide built for your exact situation. Request the guide here: https://hubs.ly/Q04tc84v0

We pushed Shopify further than it is typically taken, but we did it by leaning into the platform rather than working around it. CQL built a multi-brand experience with a single Shopify instance for HALL Wines:
+ Distinct brand experiences for HALL, WALT, BACA, and Michel Foch.
+ SEO that works per brand.
+ One cart, one account, everywhere.
+ A store the team can actually run.
The whole point of unifying the brands was continuity. As customers move between wineries, their cart and account follow them. Add a Zinfandel on the BACA site, hop over to WALT, and everything is still right there at checkout.

Some new features on Shopify's Shop app have peaked our interest:
When a shopper is near one of your physical locations, Shop tells them.
It does the same for return locations, which gets people through the door and gives you a shot at selling them something else while they're there. Neither of those costs you anything in ad spend.
Shoppers using AI agents can approve agent-completed purchases through Shop. Still early, but the brands set up for it will be the ones that benefit first.
On the PDP, Shop natively shows if an item is popular and low inventory without you building anything.
Put together, that's a discovery, checkout, and foot traffic channel you're not paying for. All of it runs on data your brand controls. Store locations, inventory counts, product details.

Congratulations to HALL Wines on the successful go-live of their new unified commerce platform on Shopify Plus!
Migrating from Adobe Commerce (Magento) to Shopify takes precision and strategy, and it was an honor to be Hall Wines' trusted partner in this complex digital transformation.
A few highlights of what went live:
- Four distinct brands, HALL, WALT, BACA, and Michel Foch, powered by a single Shopify Plus store, with a custom-engineered shared cart and checkout across every domain
- Shopify POS rolling out across six tasting rooms, bringing in-person and online commerce together with table service, food add-ons, split payments, and on-the-spot wine club sign-ups
- A next-generation wine club and subscription experience, powered by , built for HALL’s complex membership tiers and quarterly shipments
- Enterprise integrations connecting Shopify to Business Central (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), ShipCompliant, and AvaTax for seamless inventory, compliance, and beverage tax
- HALL's entire customer database and five years of order history migrated into one connected ecosystem
Congrats to HALL Family Wines and the CQL team on an incredible launch. Here's to elevating hospitality and powering what's next.

We get it... there are a ton of options for apps on Shopify; the choices can be overwhelming, overlap, or spread your team too thin to manage. Our clients have been turning to Nosto to create personalize commerce experiences across multiple touchpoints, including product recommendations (sitewide and for emails), search and merchandising, content personalization, A/B testing, dynamic bundles, pop-ups and UGC. In fact, for global brands, they can deliver localized experiences. And it's all driven by AI in 1 interface.
Sometimes you just need to find the solutions that can support your brand in more ways than one. Nosto powers brands like Frye, Janie & Jack, Saje, Psycho Bunny, Brighton, South Moon Under, KREWE, Square Enix, and more.

Did you know you can see how much revenue AI search is driving for your store on Shopify, out of the box?
Shopify's Agentic sales channel shows how much revenue and traffic you're getting from AI storefront visits, and which platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) are sending that traffic. There are plenty of insights to review, like recent searches where your products showed up, and you can actually type in queries to see if your products are ranking, with Shopify flagging exactly what to fix if they're not.
As more shoppers start their search on AI platforms instead of Google, this is a channel worth watching closely, especially since shoppers coming from AI search tend to be further along in their decision-making and more informed by the time they land on your store.

When rolling out Shopify POS, do you launch all stores at once or in waves? Scale makes the call. Here's a quick map from our new rollout guide:
Under ~100 locations: usually launch together. Waves don't pencil out.
~100-200 locations: waves, starting with a pilot.
Over ~200 locations: almost always waves, almost always a real pilot.
A single launch at 200+ stores isn't a strategy. It's a coin flip.
