This project was such a unique and collaborative experience and we are truly grateful that Tonika trusted us to document her incredible work preserving the Englewood neighborhood.

Meet the color chart — the simple yet powerful tool that helps us capture the best skin tones for all our interview subjects. This little chart is a game-changer, providing a consistent reference point in any environment, no matter the room or lighting conditions.

By using it, we can tell the computer exactly what each color should look like, allowing us to adjust for the most accurate and beautiful hues during color correction. It’s an inexpensive tool, but it’s taken our filmmaking game up 20 notches! 📈
