Students plant eggplants and peppers in Permapark and help train grape vines to one of our trellis archways.

Our heirloom plant sale is almost here! 🌱 Students have been growing heirloom vegetables alongside companion plants like marigolds and chives that naturally help keep pests away. Fresh, sustainable, and perfect for your backyard garden and kitchen.

Spring activities in the bioswale. CCA students had a great time feeding our chickens and collecting fresh eggs.

Wednesday May 6th & Thursday May 7th, 2026 - CCA Academy students visited the Garfield Park Conservatory as part of the Young Adult Horticulture Pathway Program, where they gained hands-on horticulture experience and explored future career opportunities in the industry.
