On July 26, 1990, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law — a historic civil rights milestone that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation, and public/private spaces.

Its purpose? To ensure that people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.

And yet every day, millions still face barriers to accessing content and communications from brands and organizations of all kinds.
