Rudy

I considered a new page for Donovan, but I know Rudy wouldn't mind!

So Donovan has cancer (Oral Melanoma).
He had surgery this morning, only 3 teeth (and underlying jaw) removed!
He's finished with surgery and waking up.

I thought I would include a couple of before photos (with one from the surgeon) 😀❤️

Rudy's fight with cancer ended last night. Special thanks to everyone who sent positive vibes during this whole thing. We're going to miss you, Buddy!

Rudy had his first acupuncture treatment yesterday. It relaxed him to the point where he was snoring. It's been a rough few weeks. He's lost a lot of weight and his hind legs are so swollen it's hard for him to stand. I'm really hoping alternative therapy gives him some relief.

Rudy is usually wiped out after chemo. Donovan always knows and takes care of his brother

Rudy's hair started falling out due to the chemo. Also, because of everything going on, he was WAY overdue for a haircut. So, he got buzzed!

Jillie has been very supportive (and also keeps Donovan occupied).

Rudy had his second chemo treatment today. He continues to improve! Still gaining weight and is having an easier time going to the bathroom. But most importantly, he's much more engaged and energetic!

All of the treatments seem to be working! He's having normal poops now. It sill takes some effort but not nearly as much. And he's still gaining weight!

Took the boys to the park. Rudy had to be off leash because he's badass!

Rudy's graduation from radiation therapy. The staff at CVCC loves Rudy and we love them!
