A little greenery overhead, a lot of color on the tables, string lights sparkling everywhere, and flowers basically saying, “We’re here to party!”

This Theater on the Lake wedding was pure joy from start to finish. We brought in hanging greenery to soften the space, layered in bright, playful blooms on the tables, dressed up the band with flowers, and let those dreamy string lights do their thing.

And then there was the couple, Brigid and Charlie, who were wonderful, joyful, completely in love, and the kind of people who make everyone around them happier just by being there.

Basically: good people + great flowers + music + twinkle lights = a very, very good night.

A day in the life of a Chicago florist

Before the pretty photos, there’s a whole lot of prep, hustle, heavy lifting, and teamwork.

Studio prep → loading the trucks → unloading at the venue → building designs on-site → and finally, seeing it all come together.

It’s a little chaotic, a lot of flowers, and somehow always worth it when we step back and see the finished space.
