As Executive Assistant and Personal Lines/Commercial Underwriter, Melanie joined the Weer team in 2026 bringing 4 years of insurance experience across agencies in New York and Florida. She understands how insurance operations work across multiple markets — and she brings that perspective to everything she touches.

In her day-to-day role, Melanie ensures the leadership team can focus on strategic growth by handling the coordination, workflows, and details that keep everything running smoothly. When something needs to get done, Melanie has already started.

Her specialties span personal lines, contractor insurance, trucking, and restaurants — making her a versatile resource both operationally and on the coverage side.

Outside of work, Melanie is a devoted wife and mother of two who plays volleyball on weekends and bakes cookies with her kids — a family tradition she takes as seriously as any workflow.
