Someone with a different political affiliation.
A different race.
A different religion.
A different nationality.
A different life experience.

Not to debate.
Not to “win.”
Not to prove them wrong.

Just listen. Ask questions. Learn their story.

Our country is being flooded with rhetoric designed to convince us that they are the enemy. That people on the other side are less worthy, less American, less human.

But division thrives when we stop seeing people as people.

So let’s start a different trend.

Talk to someone you disagree with.
Find what you have in common.
Listen before judging.
Choose curiosity over contempt.
Connection over division.
Humanity over hate.

Because we don’t have to agree with one another to recognize one another’s humanity.
