Orchestra 33 is grateful for the opportunity to give back by playing a role in a community effort supporting a local family experiencing unthinkable hardship.

Paulie & Brittany Dante have two beautiful little girls, Talia (3) and Tessa (18 months). In Late March 2021, Tessa was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, an incredibly rare and aggressive form of pediatric cancer. A rigorous treatment plan is in place at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago where Tessa will receive care off and on for the next 1.5 years. Tessa is already proving to be the strongest little girl and a fighter.

Join us on Sunday afternoon, September 12, outdoors at the Carol Stream Town Center on the SW corner of North Gary Avenue and Lies Road for the 1st Annual Tessa Strong Pediatric Neuroblastoma Walk. The event begins at 11:00 AM and concludes 5:00 PM. Free parking is available in the Fountain View Recreation Center parking lot adjacent to the park.

Orchestra 33 takes the gazebo stage at 1:30 PM. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs for this free event offering raffles, music, games and food. Make a donation if you wish by visiting https://gofund.me/b1e3c026

We look forward seeing you!

It has been quite awhile since our last post. Never could we have imagined our band, our business and our entire our industry being completely shut down for nearly sixteen months because of a worldwide pandemic. But it happened, and we survived.

By the end of May we had begun working our way back by performing at rescheduled events for a few incredibly stoic clients. We look forward to cranking it up at many more events throughout the remainder of summer and fall.

Be healthy, friends!

Greetings! We normally would be thanking our extraordinary clients up to this point in the year, but few things about this year have been anything close to normal. Thankfully, we have successfully rescheduled nearly every event into 2021 and new inquiries are steadily coming in.

One inquiry this week came from a bride-to-be, asking our availability on her wedding day. “My parents had Orchestra 33 at their wedding 30 years ago and loved you guys!” Now, how amazing is that!

We wish everyone the best of health and much happiness. We’ll hang in there, and we hope to see you on the dance floor again soon!

Greetings! As we enter a new year we once again pause to say thank you to all of our clients, both new and old. Recent events with Brookfield Zoo, Partners for Progress, Kristi & Randall, Sara & Michael, Corbett R., Riverside Golf Club, Michelle & Jeffrey, Geneva Lake Water Safety Patrol, Lauren & Jason, Amber & Rich, Julie & Jeremy, Jennifer & James, Black & Veatch Corp., Brianna & Shane, Elizabeth & Robert, Katie & Craig, Kaitlin & Adam, the Shannon Rovers, Kaitlin & Bernie, Ann Marie & Boz, Paige & Nicholas, Bachelors and Benedicts, Madlynne & Nicholas and McMaster-Carr, all were amazing and unique in their own way.

One particular highlight was a toast given by the Maid of Honor at Julie and Jeremy’s wedding. She was quoting Julie, who had spoken these words early in her wedding planning.

“I do not need nor want the ‘perfect’ wedding. I do not need every single detail thought of and included. I don’t need a wedding that’s ‘the talk of the town.’ All I need that day, I already have .... the greatest parents, brother and sister anyone could ever ask for. I’ll have all of my best friends and family in one room and by my side. And I’ll have the man of my dreams at the end of the aisle. There is not a single thing that could go wrong on our wedding day that will ever matter. We have something that most people will never find. That’s all I need that day.”

The party was outrageously fun.

Our gala/fundraiser performance schedule is winding down as we eagerly anticipate the upcoming wedding and outdoor party season. But one more gala remains ... and it's open to the public. Join us in a club setting on June 8 at Austin's Saloon and Eatery in Libertyville for the Partners For Progress Dance Bash. Doors open at 5:30PM, and Orchestra 33 takes the stage at 7:00PM. It's for a great cause and we'd love to see you there!
