Ethan Greene was my first bass teacher and my first true musical mentor back in middle school when I first picked up the bass. Without his support I’m not sure I ever would’ve pursued a career playing the bass. He was encouraging and knowledgeable and irreverent all at the same time, juggling traits that made him an invaluable source of wisdom and friendship for me—a friendship that lasted for decades beyond our lessons. He will always be a part of me and I will miss him forever❤️
