Was invited to observe the start of the April Rgatta this morning, dedicated to Vice Admiral Edmundo Nestor (Ret), who I was honored to meet.

Also got a chance to chat with Dr. Poullo, past-President of PASO (now aka ) and past-President of the NOC of the Dominican Republic. We had great memories of the Santo Domingo 2003 Panam Games.

Here is a photo of Fred Hagedorn with Dr. Poullo and Irina Perez, 1st VP of the DOM NOC and a Member of the DOM FEDEVELA Executive.

As a bonus, we got to see Felix Payano, President of the DOM FEDEVELA, as he drove his boat at the start of the race!

It was nice to get to see Sailing while attending the General Assembly in Santo Domingo, DR

It is easy to celebrate all of our strategic accomplishments, but the most important was bringing together a great team of officials to deliver a phantastic event for our athletes! THANK YOU!

Finally to the staff and volunteers of Santiago, the membership and staff of Cofradia , the FV of Chile, and the sailors of Chile, THANK YOU for a job well done!
