Alone We Can Do So Little, But Together We Can Do So Much
www.citiblock.org Community. Simple to say, but what does it mean?
Definition, a group of people living in one place. But what if Citiblock seperated comm & unity from community and developed a concept of "unified communication." Here at Citiblock we find it impossible to work alone; that is why we developed Citiblock.org a blog of unified communication, based solely on the information the community feeds us.

Last night 6 police officers from the 4th district pulled over 6 college students which took an Uber from the North Side to get back to our homes from a concert. One officer said, "what do you do mop for a living, shut up and get back to your mop job." It was constant harassment as we stood on the hood of their car. There was no objection to there enforcement, we each gave our I.D.'s but it seemed that our group of 6 was suspicious to their patrolling. It was not even a minute from leaving the Uber car that we were each forced onto the hood of the car. It bothers me when we are discriminated against for no particular reason. Instead of finding the shooters in south deering their out harassing individuals for being in a group. Maybe it's our community, but there was no reason for suspicion except for our race and our numbers in the group. There was no names taken from them since they made us leave or threatened with being arrested. Wish I was able to take the name and squad car.

Help Santa Save St. Florian School http://wp.me/p3aWPK-Dn
Help Santa Save St. Florian School (Nuccio DiNuzzo, Chicago Tribune) By Meredith Rodriguez, Chicago Tribune "At dusk Sunday, Santa rode up to a Far South Side school in a firetruck, led a cheerful crowd of parents, students and community members in a round of "Jingle Bells" and "Feliz Navidad," and took a group selfie before climbing on St. Florian School's roof. And there he will stay, school officials and supporters say, until the small Catholic school in the Hegewisch neighborhood can raise the $56,000 necessary to keep its doors open for the 2015-16 school year.
