Inventory in Chicago is at a 14 year low - I have seen a dramatic shift this year in the "hot spring market" that we usually experience.

Chicagoland seasonal market less predictable, inventory hits 14-year low - Chicago Agent Magazine Associations Chicagoland experienced a drop in home sales for both single-family (down 11.2%) and attached homes (down 6.6%) in February, according to a press release from the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®.

Interesting perspective on changes to homes as a result of the pandemic. At my house we have a desk in the bedroom and our guest room was turned into remote school zone, as well as the unfinished basement being transformed into a "messy zone" for crafts, a kinetic sand table and now- an exercise room. I think you have to remove any work from home set ups from your primary bedroom- but it is good to show buyers that there are dedicated spaces for working from home- since it is the future for many people.
