Mathreach Arts Integration

All Mathreach classes & camps are designed to target the major elements of the NCTM Standards, Illinois Learning Standards, & the Common Core State Standards Initiative. John Dickson, creator of Mathreach, designs lessons that engage and inspire students by exposing them to the natural beauty and elegance of mathematical patterns via the creation of art. in Mathematics and Secondary Education teaching certification from Cornell College in Iowa, John began working closely with Artreach at Lillstreet Art Center to integrate math into art lessons. Mathreach is now offered to all schools and organizations that strive for curriculum diversity and classroom success.
