Last Wednesday, TSF brought a smartphone photography challenge to seniors at the Chicago Hyde Park Village. We worked on how to take selfies, how to edit photos on your smartphone and many more!

Photos help us record memories and connect with others. Do you remember when you took your first selfie?

Last Wednesday, Tech Savvy Friends visited Hyde Park Village again to present on the world of online delivery, a fast growing and convenient option! We went through the entire process, from setting up emails to creating accounts on services such as Amazon and Instacart. As there are many possibilities out there, we created an easy-to-follow comparison chart for elders to identify which is best for their needs. We hope it is a welcome addition, and are looking forward to the next time we meet!

On Wednesday, February 27, members of TSF joined residents of Chicago Hyde Park Village to introduce ourselves as a new service organization in the community, and answer some questions about technology. We were bombarded with so many questions, and learned so much from the fascinating life stories of our new friends!
