Our Story

Southport & Irving (SIP) is a neighborhood bar and restaurant featuring globally-inspired American cuisine paired with handcrafted cocktails and an international wine list.

Our wine highlights smaller vineyards and boutique producers and every bottle is available to-go from our retail wine shop. Join us once a month on the third Friday from 6:30-8pm to sample 12 featured wines for $12 or join our wine club for $30 and take (2) bottles home with you after the tasting.

Our bar offers a full lineup of handcrafted original cocktails along with the favorite classics as well as an extensive craft beer and cider list focusing on Chicago and mid-west breweries.
And... don’t forget recovery with our 3-day weekend (Friday-Sunday) with our Boozy Brunches to kick-off your weekend or repair the night before.
