Nashville was showing off during our site visit at the Grand Hyatt Nashville! Can you tell how excited Chris Okenka, Scott Zeller, and I are to plan our first hybrid Turnaround Management Association conference? So happy to be back at it!

Green penguins are apparently great bartenders at 21c Museum Hotel Chicago 😎🥂 Thanks Veronica Navarro for the tour of the gorgeous museum/hotel and all the smiles!

Thirsty? Check out the virtual blind whiskey tasting we did for TMA's VIP reception with an expert host from Edrington Brands. Our guests got to engage in friendly competition to see who could guess which beautifully aged whiskey was which. The VIP box was complete with select bourbons, custom branded snifters, tasting notes, coasters, and spicy toffee to snack on! 🥃

Isn't she the cutest flower girl you've ever seen? The bride's dad built this carriage for her niece so that she could be a part of the festivities 🥰

You would never know from this gorgeous photo, but 5 minutes before we opened the doors, intense gusts of California wind came through and knocked down all of the lanterns. 🥴 Thankfully we had a team of natural problem solvers equipped with zip ties, twine, duct tape, and anything else we could find to put everything in place before the guest came in. Mother Nature always keeps our job exciting!

It's been a tough year for the event industry as a whole, however, despite it all I am so grateful for all of the new skills and practices that I had the opportunity to learn in the virtual world. We've been working hard on the -CAC Awards Recognition Celebration and I can't wait to celebrate all of the amazing event professionals in Chicago because you deserve it! Creating aesthetically appealing food displays is an art within itself and we had so much fun intertwining food with the surrounding artwork and florals for the Form: Art + Floral Exhibition!
