Raise your hand if you quit your 9-5 to work 24/7. 😩 Entrepreneurs are known for burning the candles at both ends.
“It’s probably no surprise that fatigue stifles emotional intelligence and that decision-making abilities decline. When we are running and growing a business, oftentimes our self-care tends to fall by the wayside.”
Here a few tips to avoid burnout while you work to grow your business:
✅ Prioritize your personal needs
✅ Take intentional breaks (often)
✅ Find a new hobby and something you enjoy
How many hours a day would you say you spend on your business?
Thank you for a wonderful 2021! Here's to 9 years in 2022......we look forward to serving you!!

Dear small business owner, have you created or thought about revamping your social media policy?
A social media policy is a set of guidelines for employees and other representatives of a business to abide by. Why is this important?
A social media policy:
1. Protects employees
2. Protects your brand
3. Reduces legal liability
4. Protects your culture
Consider including the following areas in your social media policy:
1. Guidelines for company-owned media
2. Company brand and values
3. Ownership
4. Confidentiality and security
5. Defamatory or offensive content
6. Protected speech
7. Consequences
Remember, social media is a bonafide marketing strategy that can make or break your business. Stay in the know and protect your brand!
May your days be Merry + Bright! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

If you want your brand to be SEEN and SUPPORTED, then create a brand identity and voice that is unmistakably yours. You can ensure this when you employ a social media style guide for your business.
Be sure to include the following:
1. Visual Guidelines
Your style guide doesn’t need to be overly formal, but make sure it’s easy to access so designers can use it so they can produce consistent work. Assets include:
`Brand colors
`Fonts for graphics
`Color combinations, per network
`Photos of your office and team members
`Logos
2. Perfect Your Writing Style
Your language should reflect the personality of your brand. Whether you want to be an authority or a friend, the tone should be aligned with your general mission statement.
3. Grammar & Terminology
Your social media posts should follow certain grammatical standards to help create cohesiveness in your content. However, your goal on social is to build human connection, so loosen up a bit and write in a conversational tone.
4. Post Formatting
Adopt a unique format for sharing links, status updates or other types of posts.
5. Hashtag Usage
When selecting relevant hashtags and creating branded hashtags, think about the intent behind them and the channels you’re using them on. Current best practice is to use 5-10 hashtags for Instagram posts.
6. Responding to Questions
Brand responses to questions on social media should be consistent, which prevents issues. Create a Communication Cheat Sheet as a quick reference for your team.
7. Legal Concerns
There are general legal considerations to keep in mind like copyright violations or regramming someone else’s image without permission. Make sure your guide is up-to-date with messaging that will protect your brand on social media. It’s always better to be safe and cover all your bases.
Now, go and be great!

Burnout is real! How many hours do you spend a day on your business?
Entrepreneurs are known for burning the candle at both ends. Here are some ways to combat burnout:
⚡ Schedule time for yourself
⚡ Get rid of the guilt!
⚡ Exercise and eat healthy
⚡ Hone in on your "why" Why did you become an entrepreneur? Whatever the reason, reminding yourself why you became an entrepreneur in the first place can help you avoid burnout.
If you're seeing this, take a break. You deserve it.
Digital marketing is always changing and evolving, so 2022 will be no different. Now is the time to prepare for the future of digital marketing!
Here are some top 2022 digital marketing trends to learn about and even adopt:
1. Facebook officially changed its name to Meta and it's betting big on the Metaverse, which is a term for virtual and augmented experiences. This is the future, so seek out opportunities for your business in these spaces.
2. Influencer marketing is set to reach $13.8 billion in 2021 and continue to grow! Influencer campaigns inherently provide context and relevance since the influencer is endorsing the product. If you haven't already jumped on this trend, you might want to do so or get left behind.
3. LinkedIn continues to show considerable gains in monthly active users and engagements on the platform. They are also continuously launching new features that drive better results for businesses and pages. How can you leverage this platform for growth?
4. Experiences are the new social currency and word-of-mouth marketing is still gold! Focus on creating experiences at every stage of your interactions with customers to earn organic support.
5. Website traffic is overwhelmingly mobile; however, most websites still don't have fully mobile-optimized experiences. As Google launched Core Web Vitals site design, speed will become ever more important. Make sure your website is optimized.
6. Every part of digital marketing — social media newsfeeds, display ads, social ads, search engine optimization and even email — is becoming algorithm-driven. So in order to stay relevant, you should provide a user experience that customers want or your content will be less visible.
And remember - less is more! The explosion of digital marketing options means that many businesses are spread too thin across too many channels. Smart businesses focus on dominating one channel.
Now go and be great!
