What's better than doing what you love while working with like-minded creators and organizations dedicated to bettering our communities? We'll wait...

Nothing, right? That's why we love working with and supporting the Southeast Chicago Chamber of Commerce. We've had the pleasure of working with them alongside talented south side artists like Max Sansing, Kayla Mahaffey, Dred Ske, Rahmaan Statik, and Cujo Dah to add artwork to their outdoor mural gallery - in conjunction with block parties and free food for the community.

This is why we should ALL support their latest project in collaboration with Max Sansing, the release of the "Culture is Power" shirt, as seen in his famous 79th St mural (and one of our first major mural productions in the neighborhood), "Culture is Power."

The best part is 100% of the profits go towards creating and preserving public art in neighborhoods like South Shore, Englewood and Roseland.

Your support will uplift communities, empower artists and revitalize business corridors. The shirts themselves are 100% pre-shrunk cotton, come in sizes S-3X, are available as a T-shirt, Long-Sleeved shirt and Hoodie and will look great on you. Order by December 12th with the code ALPHA to get 20% off at SoutheastChgoChamber.org/shop.

If you're on the south side, check out our 2020 holiday install for the Southeast Chicago Chamber of Commerce at 87th + Stony Island. This year's concept was inspired by the many murals we've produced in the Avalon Park/Calumet Heights area over the years. AlphaBomber Productions' lead artist Jesse Navarrete and production specialist Jorge Aguilar (NASA) created the larger-than-life holiday pieces using characters from murals by Kayla Mahaffey, Max Sansing, and Dred Ske.

Happy Holidays, from the AlphaBomber fam to yours.

It’s always a pleasure working with the talented Anna Murphy, and today we’re looking back on this incredible mural she painted in Ping Tom Memorial Park last summer.

AB Productions coordinated logistics, site clean up + prep, and applied an anti-graffiti/UV protectant clear coat to ensure the longevity of Anna’s hard work. As with all of Anna’s murals, this one is entirely brush painted 😳😍🤯

Shinique Smith mural we assisted in the Wabash Arts Corridor, called “I Am Love.”

It was fun to witness this piece evolve throughout Shinique’s process.

Photography by Sandra Steinbrecher. Curated by NPL Projects. Special thanks to Columbia College Chicago for making this possible, and to the homies Dred Ske and for the hot-weather assist!

In 2018, we had the privilege of assisting our homie Max Sansing on an incredibly meaningful project, coordinated by Young Chicago Authors & Kevin Coval for People's Law Office.

Sansing’s piece is titled “The Chairman” and is dedicated to Black Panther Party Leader and revolutionary, Fred Hampton.

In December 1969, Hampton was shot and killed in his bed during a predawn raid at his Chicago apartment by a tactical unit of the Cook County State's Attorney's Office in conjunction with the Chicago Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation; during the raid, another Panther (Mark Clark) was killed and several seriously wounded. In January 1970, a coroner's jury held an inquest and ruled the deaths of Hampton and Mark Clark to be justifiable homicide.

“Nothing is more important than stopping fascism, because fascism is gonna stop us all.”
