We called her Granny.

She was raised in Louisiana, where feeding people wasn't just about the food—it was how you showed love. There was always coffee brewing, something homemade on the table, and room for one more person.

She taught our family that the best meals weren't just about what was on the plate—they were about the people gathered around it.

That's the feeling we wanted to bring to Chicago.

Junebug Café isn't just named after her. It's inspired by her.

Our Louisiana roots. Our family recipes. Our belief that good food brings people together.

Every beignet, every bowl of gumbo, every hand pie, and every cup of coffee is our way of carrying a little piece of that tradition forward.

Every time you walk through our doors, we hope you feel a little of what it was like sitting at Granny's table.
