Built with the help of family, Tank provides a cozy community on the corner of Argyle St. and North Broadway. Our expansive menu has something for every taste bud, with 200 items, from Pho, Vermicelli & soups, to our always popular Egg Roll
While everyone knows us for our Pho and Banh Mi, the real "local's choice" at Tank Noodle is our Charbroiled Pork Chop Rice Plate.
What makes it special? We marinate our pork chops to perfection using our signature blend of spices before they hit the grill. There’s a reason we charbroil them—the high flame locks in the juices and creates that perfect smoky finish. It leaves the meat incredibly tender and moist in a way that just hits different. Tank Noodle is the heart and soul of Mamma Ly, a longtime neighbor and pillar of our Uptown community. Since the late 90s, she has poured her passion into the Argyle streetscape—first through fashion and later through the comforting flavors of her heritage. As a Vietnamese woman who built her dreams from the ground up, Mamma Ly hasn't just opened a restaurant; she has created a beloved Chicago institution where every guest feels like family.
