Today I had the opportunity to attend Sushi 101 with FujiSan Sushi at Washington University in St. Louis and it was the perfect reminder of why hands-on learning matters in experiential marketing.

Standing beside our client, seeing the craftsmanship firsthand, and understanding the process from prep → presentation → consumer interaction gives me an even deeper appreciation for the work we support in the field every day.

At 180 Promotions, we talk a lot about presence, partnership, and elevating live experiences.
Today was about living it.

From technique to timing to hospitality, Sushi 101 offered real insight into how thoughtful food experiences create connection — the same connection we aim to deliver for every brand we represent.
