happy 5th birthday to my sweet spooky song "skeletons".💀💀i released this song for halloween 2017, at a time where i had been experimenting with new sounds and listening to a lot of Julien Baker. this song marked somewhat of a change in my music style to a more moody feel rather than just me with an acoustic guitar, and this style carried throughout my EP release "i was an iceberg" in 2019. anyway, halloween time and autumn in general is a great time for change. i think i'm ready for a change again, what do ya think?💀👻🍂

it’s been 10 years since getting unexpectedly called onstage by Glen Hansard at pabst theater in milwaukee to sing the oscar-winning song “falling slowly”. it’s one of my most treasured memories. I even remember glen making sure I got back to my car safely after the backstage party; safe to say he is one of the genuinely kindest people i’ve ever met🖤

my return to Youtube / YouTubeへの復帰
one of the most recognizable ghibli theme songs, i have been wanting to record a full cover of this song for probably years. it was one of the first japanese songs i heard, and the lyrics and melody are beautiful. “spirited away” was my favorite movie as a kid (and it’s still in my top 5), and even now i still watch it with the same wonderment i did back then.
