Thank you to everyone who joined us for our final Ritmos de Verano event of the season and filled the room with such incredible energy.
A special thank you to Daniel Chavez for an unforgettable performance that gave us all the chills and brought this summer series to the perfect close. 🎷✨

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Richard came to Chicago five years ago and built something new from scratch. Now he's part of our family, and trust us, you can feel it the moment he's around.
When we asked him what Pura Vida means to him, he said it best: "Everything's great and life is good."

This past Wednesday, Henry accepted the Best Latin Food award at the 2026 Legacy Business Poll, presented by Special Service Area #33 in Wicker Park Bucktown.
Hundreds of community members voted for their favorite neighborhood businesses that have been serving this area for 15 years or more, and you voted for us.
36 years ago, Mom had a dream. Dad helped build it. Henry has carried it forward every single day since 2006. This award belongs to all three of them, and to every one of you who has made Irazú your home away from home.
We are Bucktown. And Bucktown is us. Pura Vida. 🤍
