Intonation Music

We are thrilled to be a recipient of an FY27 General Operating grant from Illinois Arts Council!

This month’s ChiBrations Second Saturdays will be a special one! After this community jam session, we’ll head over to the Muddy Waters MOJO Museum for their annual Shake Your Back to School Blues event! Both events are all ages and free!

We’ve said it before and it’s still true: a small monthly donation adds up! 30 people donating $3 per month ($36 annually) provides us with over $1000 in donations per year. You could be one of those 30 people! Head to our website to set up a monthly donation today and we’ll send you a packet of Intonation stickers as a thank-you.

Enrollment has opened for the first of our Fall 2026 program offerings! Head to the link in our bio to learn more and register!

Intonation is thrilled to be a nominee for the 356 Chicago Innovation Award! We are honored to be among such an outstanding group of organizations.

Join us for Black & Bronze Fest — a music festival and cultural celebration of the past, present and future of Bronzeville, the Southside and Black Chicago. We are packing out Armstrong Park on Saturday, August 29th from 1-7pm. Intonation will be leading a beat making workshop in the Minnie Explorers Kids' Zone!

Our summer campers had an amazing time visiting Obama Presidential Library on Tuesday! We are overjoyed to have such a hopeful and welcoming space on Chicago’s South Side. 🧡 📚

If you’ve been in a band, what are some things you’ve learned? Tell us in the comments!
