The mountains bring me such peace.

I just ordered this beauty on metal that will withstand high humidity, think bathroom and kitchen!, and outdoor environments. It is also scratch resistant.

I'm very excited to see where this goes!

I took my camera to work today and after clocking out, I managed to capture something I "cleaned" up the other day. It was heart breaking to see these pots come in shattered. I'm thankful that I was able to save the plants and they are thriving. And, well, a little thankful for the arty moment.

In a twist of events, life has landed me in a new role. I have many passions. Photography, being one, of course. Plants, another... in case you hadn't figured that out! I was fortunate to find an amazing opportunity to get my hands back in the soil in an industry that I've always loved.

I'm transitioning from 14 years of being a stay at home mom and part time photographer, to full time employment, mom, and still trying to find the beauty around me. It's going to take me some time to get a balance, but rest assured, my camera is still my best friend. We've just not had a lot of time to hang out here of late.
