I was homeless with my 3 kids. Did not know what I was going to do. It was tax refund time of the year. I went to the big brand offices. They all told me I would get 2k back with 3 kids. I was like huh? This did not sit well with me. I went online and did research on how to prepare my own tax return. I got my refund to 6k. The ladies in the shelter watched me do this on the computer in the computer lab of the shelter. They asked me to help them as well. At first I said no I did not have time because I needed to get my family out of this situation. They offered to pay me....then I said OK!!! LOL The very first time I did taxes. 10 people paid me $500. I made $5k my very first week of doing taxes. After that I started teaching others how to do it. I got help directly from the IRS. People come to me because I answer ALL YOUR QUESTIONS and if I can't I know where to go to get the answers. I have been helping people for 15yrs now. Fight back. Do not settle. I did not give up.
