Once a peaceful neighborhood in Detroit, only 8 years later became a wasteland... It makes me wonder how this could happen to so many neighborhoods around Detroit 🏚️

"The Backrooms" is an internet horror concept based on a strange feeling many people have experienced. Imagine accidentally wandering into an empty office building, hotel hallway, school, or shopping mall after hours. Somewhere familiar, but eerily deserted. The rooms seem endless, the lighting is wrong, the colors feel faded, and there's a sense that something isn't quite right… 😳

The idea is that you somehow slip out of reality and end up trapped in an endless maze of empty rooms and hallways. Nothing overtly scary is happening, but the isolation and unsettling atmosphere create a feeling of dread.

If you've ever walked through an empty mall, office building, or school at night and felt a little uneasy for no obvious reason, you've experienced the feeling that inspired the Backrooms… 🔦

A block of homes in Baltimore Maryland completely erased after going abandoned. It makes me wonder if total clean slate approach to these neighborhoods is really the right answer 🤔🏚️
