CASE IN POINT — Erwin Law’s Lead Litigator Stephen Blackburn recently secured a First District Court of Appeals Victory. The Court ruled, “we need not consider that question because we agree … the complaint was legally insufficient.” See the full opinion here:

Laaaaawwww! — Congratulations to our Senior Real Estate Assistant Angela Adams on the birth of her second child. We’re thrilled to welcome sweet Anani Rose Calderon, born April 6th, to the Erwin Law Family!

DISMISSED! — After a dispute lasting more than four years, the Erwin Law litigation team successfully obtained dismissal of a lawsuit that threatened to upend our clients’ right to enforce a restrictive covenant which protected their home from unwarranted construction next door. Despite Plaintiff’s scorched earth attempts to void a party wall agreement that had been in place and uncontested since 1946, we finally prevailed on dueling motions, obtaining an order dismissing Plaintiff’s claims in their entirety. Opposing counsel offered every conceivable argument and a myriad of tough litigation tactics at the case, requiring our steadfast determination, focus and skill to cut out the noise and persuade the judge to rule in our favor. We are thankful to have been able to help these clients protect and preserve the architecturally significant home which they have owned for almost 40 years.
