Always learning as I go! Wanting to combine my skill sets as I gain more knowledge and continue up cycling and repurposing! I present to you: 3 prototypes for a necklace that gives you TWO choices of how to wear it while exploring different ways to add style and elevate pop tabs for your everyday an special occasion wears! What color are you feeling that day? Red doesn’t go with your outfit? Turn it around to yellow! Each piece was a learning experience, the first one wound up being able to move ( though my intention was no movement) which gives it such a fun and playful element, the second I flattened part of the pop tabs and that resulted in a fun expansion at the bottom I didn’t anticipate but find beautiful, the third I was able to flatten and ad an extra rivet so the tabs are flush. All three I enjoy in different ways and accentuate the hand painted enamel differently….which one do you want to see more of?!

My heart breaks every day lately, and while I feel whatever I do isn’t enough, I’ll never stop using my voice to advocate for others to the best of my abilities, disabilities and all, because we have to take care of each other. We have to be the voice for those who are being silenced. The only way we will find our way through this is community and community takes care of each other. No amount of help is too small. Silence and doing nothing is not an option. In addition to the chicago flag stickers, today I designed a MN flag sticker as well. All proceeds from the MN stickers will be going to a MN organization similar to ICIRR, I am still looking into which one, and will update this post as soon as I have found one. The sticker will come in small/medium/large just like the chicago flag ones. And yes, I can ship. Let’s continue to show up for each other in whatever way we are capable. Donate, share resources, go to protests, speak your mind, carry a whistle, and more. Good can and will conquer evil. And to those who’ve lost their lives to this terrible evil, may their memories be a blessing.

So many new items for you (and a few return classics) this year/holiday season! It’s been quite the adventure coming up with some of these and quite a few trial and errors, but I present to you the final works with more to come!
