Grace, Senior Engineering Design Tech at ComEd, reflects on the significance of Pride month.
We know rising energy costs are creating real challenges for customers, including the small businesses that are essential to our local economies.
As part of The Exelon Promise, we’re focused on delivering immediate relief and long-term solutions to help customers. In Chicago, ComEd President and CEO Gil Quiniones joined community leaders and partners to announce a $2.5 million Customer Relief Fund, backed by Exelon, to help eligible small businesses offset rising energy costs.
With support from local organizations like Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago and Chatham Business Association, we’re proud of the work ComEd is doing to help small businesses access the support they need to keep serving their communities.

These STEM Academy and Boys to STEM Academy alumni had the surprise of their lives when what they thought was a final interview was actually a celebration of their selection for a full-ride scholarship!
Eight students were awarded the Chris Crane Memorial Scholarship to support their post-secondary study in the field of engineering, finance, business, accounting, data science or IT with the hopes that they will ultimately enter the workforce as the future of the energy industry.
We look forward to seeing the amazing work they’ll do!

Great conversation at as Exelon President & CEO Calvin Butler joined President and Chief Investment Officer at Alphabet and Google Ruth Porat to discuss the future of energy.
As demand for electricity grows — especially with new technologies like AI — we’re focused on doing two things at the same time: supporting that growth and helping keep energy costs under control for the customers and communities we serve.
That means working with partners, investing in the grid and making sure innovation moves forward in a responsible way.
“We think about affordability every day, and we also think about maintaining a grid that is reliable, resilient and sustainable, and it can’t be an either or.”
Today on Bloomberg Television, Exelon President & CEO Calvin Butler joined Tyler Kendall to discuss the defining energy challenge of this moment: how we keep bills as low as possible for customers while preparing for rising demand.
Through The Exelon Promise, we’re taking action by delivering direct customer relief, strengthening protections so large energy users pay their fair share, and advocating for the long-term solutions needed to support a stronger, more reliable grid.
As demand grows, our focus remains the same: protect customers, invest responsibly and help ensure the energy system is ready for what’s next.
