First FB post in a while. This one is worth the wait. Today is Visual Effects Optical’s 35th anniversary. Imagine that! I remember day one like it was yesterday. What a ride it has been. What a life it has been. I must first thank my wife Diane, and my daughters, Sarah and Robyn for allowing my passion to consume me for all these years. To this day, I am humbled by the trust and support given me by the thousands of faces I’ve had the pleasure to touch and enhance. My artistry is only as good as the face I’m working with, and oh boy, there have been so many that have allowed me to work my magic. So, to all of you I’ve touched, you have my heartfelt gratitude for choosing me to help find eyeglasses that look great and make you feel great about wearing them. May the future for all bring health, happiness, peace and prosperity. Always with love, Dr Chet

Two years ago today, March 21, 2020, we became part of the Covid shutdown. We were closed for 7 weeks, as was much of the world. Whom among us could have, would have predicted that 2 years later we would still be living and dealing with the same pandemic. It has touched all of us in many ways, some more than others and will shape our lives for years to come. On this anniversary, I’m giving thanks for our resilience, strength and knowledge that has seen us come through this strange and trying time. May the future hold happiness, health and prosperity to us all. Thank you all for your continuing support. Dr Chet.

Hey everyone. It’s almost 2022. How did this past year disappear? I’m hopeful this new year will bring a new normal to our lives. I wish only health, joy and success to us all. Happy new year.

How did it happen? Another year has passed us by. What a year it’s been. We have much to celebrate, not the least of which is reaching 32 years of Visual Effects Optical. I will continue to thank all of you for your continued support and loyalty. I am humbled once again by the trust and faith you show me. COVID vaccination number 1 is in the arm! Thanks to all whom made this possible. Our recovery is possible when we all work together. Here’s to number 2 in 3 weeks.

We finally have an anti fog lens spray that works. Nothing will eliminate fogging, so if I say this works to reduce indoor fogging by about 80% and outside fogging by about 50 to 60% it’s worth $15.
