Meet Deanna De Leon, our secret weapon aka Chicago Inside Salesperson.
With more than 20 years of experience in furniture dealerships, Deanna knows customer service and her products inside and out. She meets complex glass specs with a level head and hustles to find solutions that keep projects moving.

From the Skyline Glass pattern collection: Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec.
The Bouroullec brothers designed Chevron and Oblique patterns for glass starting with a photograph, but instead of reproducing it faithfully, they pulled it apart to rebuild through color and rhythm.
“Glass is linked to what happens through a window… something which has a nature of movement, of evolution.”
So what you see isn’t fixed. The patterns shift as you move, as the light changes, as the day unfolds, more like a landscape than a static surface.

Mark's favorite glass pattern started with a black Goody comb and a moment of curiosity thirty years ago.
"More than thirty years ago, we were doing what we did best: experimenting. There were no digital tools back then. One day, someone in the studio grabbed a black comb, spread white latex across a glass surface, and pulled the comb through it. There was no plan behind it. Just curiosity. The texture stopped us."
--Mark Toth, National Sales Director, Skyline
That moment became Sateen, Skyline's most popular in-house design for decades. Millions of square feet of glass later, it's still never quite been duplicated.

Retrospective by Alexander Girard is Mark’s #2 favorite pattern, and it’s a personal one. He has it installed in his home, where it reflects memories from his travels through color, texture, and cultural detail. "What I love most is that it never points to one specific place. It feels like a quiet reminder of many places all at once."
—Mark Toth, National Sales Director, Skyline Glass
Reproducing Girard’s work in glass is an honor for Skyline, and translating the original textile into glass in a way that preserves the subtle idiosyncrasy of the original is a true labor of love.
#1 coming soon.

Our sales director, Mark Toth, is counting down his favorite Skyline glass patterns. From the library of hundreds, #3 is Burgeon, a work by Laura Letinsky and John Paul Morabito.
It was created from photos of fallen flower petals → digital montage → hand-woven textile → printed on glass.
"What's so special about Burgeon is the way the final piece holds all of those layers of making within it. Somehow, even at architectural scale, it still carries the intimacy of those original petals." — MARK
