Hey, it’s our birthday! Thank you for supporting my childhood dream (see 2 posts ago) for the past 14 years. Getting to do exactly what I always wanted every day is bittersweet — this work makes me so very happy; and also, loving my job means time seems to pass so quickly. It is wild how fast these 14 years went by.

We are coming up on Milk’s 14th birthday later this week — perfect timing to find this bucket list I wrote when I was 14 years old. There are 100 goals on it, but I was most delighted by #5.

I’ve only completed one other in these top 9 — guess which one!

Happy Earth Day! This has always been one of my favorite days of the year — as a kid I would host EarthDay Parties and make my friends pick up trash in the park with me, and then my mom would make us worms & dirt for dessert 🤓

The world’s problems seem unbelievably cruel, overwhelming, and out of our control right now. I think choosing to be kinder to the earth is a meaningful way to do good and to remember our collective power.

What are you doing to honor our planet today?

Unfortunately, our clothes are too cute, and we are really low on stock in a lot of favorites right now.

Rest assured I’m trying by bestest to get more here for you. We very intentionally do NOT work with brands that overproduce and light the excess stock on fire, so sometimes it takes a while to make new items, and sometimes a style that we love cannot be reproduced at all.

I ask of you this:

- utilize the notify feature on our website if we’re out of something (you’ll be the first to know if it’s restocked) or just tell us in-store and we’ll add you to the list

- please understand that if we are out of your size, it just means someone else got to it first — not that we don’t love you

- love and appreciate that the nature of handmade, sustainable clothing is that it is special and rare
