Momma gave me a bay window suited for a Princess like me. My home is coming together slowly but all in all it is worth it. We are having fun exploring the new things she puts in. Thistle wishes hers came along a little faster but Momma keep saying all good things come to those who wait.

I spent weeks thinking how to edit Pepper's Playhouse to make it fit Briar & her personality. I collected dollhouse stuff from the coolest store going out of business in Skokie. She cut & painted for days.....and today.....I have a real home called "Briar Place" for her. More renovations to come. And her sister Thistle is even going to get her mansion revamped too. Stay tuned for more edits to come.
We welcome any thoughts or constructive advice as well as any cool dollhouse stuff that is hedgehog related.
Gallagher was the best comedian...I grew up watching him with my Dad. He was clever & original. One of the greats. One year for Christmas my brother had got my Dad tickets to see him & asked if I wanted to go with Dad. Of course, that would be the greatest!
The show was on new years day...the day after my sinus surgery. I had a rolled up gauze under my nose to catch any blood , and I was ready with a mustache drawn on it.
We got to Rosemont, paid $20 to park, walked up to the doors in the freezing cold. Dad gave the guy our tickets & it wouldn't scan. He made us move over & someone came by and explained someone has already checked in for the show with those tickets. That people do this, and if we wanted to see the show we had to purchase tickets at the will call. Dad was like, "na...we'll go" & walked so fast to the car, my pain med self was trying to catch up. We got in the car and I said that ain't right. We could buy it & B can get the money back. He just said "Na", and little up a cigarette. Didn't even get the parking money back....he just drove out. That was the longest, quietest and awkward drive home.
I so wanted to go. I was so excited and I know he was too.
That was January 1, 2019. He passed away in 2022. I feel incomplete and wish I could rewind time like a VHS tape & get there a little sooner and be the 1st one's through with those tickets. I still think sometimes about what cool memories & souvenirs could have been there.
The same Rosemont Horizon where my favorite yearly past times of going to Ringling Brothers & Barnum & Bailey Circus was, the memories of childhood mixed with the smell of popcorn & ci******es. Ah, the 80s man.....
I'm going revamp his I'm still stuck in the 60s song....I say....I'm still stuck in the 80s.

F you who stole our 3 bikes, a Trike, a scooter which my dog loved to go on, and an ebike, I had not tried yet. Along with our helmets, and a dogs helmet and mirrors, etc. I hope you get yours.

FOSTER NEEDS HOME
Scooby still need a home to call his own. He's a lover, snuggle buddy, body heater on cold nights. Loves women, and men, and kids. Doesn't bark, does lightly whine when he sees you leave. Very sweet & gentle, but has issues with personal space....and has to check that you got all the groceries in the bag on your list when you come home from grocery shopping. Most beautiful & soulful eyes & they tell the story of his past. He is great with eye contact. Would be great in home of just you & him 24/7, or would thrive with other dogs. He is curious about my hedgehog but knows shes prickly so he watches her from a short distance. Loves when you don't know where he is hiding & sing the Scooby dooby doo, where are you song, and he comes right out. Which he is usually on the bed because he wanted to nap.

When you go to home depot to get more painting stuff, and to pick up White Castle after, get your order taken by an enthusiastic British guy, who upsold you on medium fries, thought maybe its his 1st day.....and get surprised by Mess Fest 2025 in the drive thru because you were the first customer, and it all sunk in....it was his 1st day! And he did great. Thank you for the treats and pleasant surprise on . Go check out the Fest on Addison & Kedzie.
