Please join us Tuesday, 11/09 in welcoming Secretary Tom Perez at The Law School for a conversation on his career in public service.

In light of recent events, BLSA and LLSA have joined together to create a program meant to foster a relaxed environment for the entire law school community where we can openly discuss race, the criminal justice system, and the particular ways the Black community is impacted by policing, prosecution, and sentencing. Please join us this Friday, June 19th on Juneteenth for a viewing of Just Mercy, a film adaptation of Bryan Stevenson’s autobiography about his fight to free wrongfully convicted Black men on Death Row. Following the film, faculty members and student moderators will lead Zoom breakout room discussions and conversations.
