For being loud in who she is, in all her of her feminist blackness (as put by TIME ) for herself, for others, and for those that may be afraid to be fierce in themselves. For having a voice, and using her platform. For being an entrepreneur. For being a mother.

It's almost Super Bowl time! Instead of repeating facts about the funny & interesting commercials or talking about who may win the game this evening, we wanted to talk about how great it is that the Super Bowl expects to be close to 90% waste-free! They are going to be using compostable containers for food, have bins labeled for compost, recycle & waste, have helpers around directing fans where to put their left-overs & containers. In addition, they'll be donating any remaining food from the end of the night to food pantries!! If the Super Bowl can have a goal to be waste-free, what will you do to reduce waste during your Super Bowl parties?

What's one of the worst things at a party, event, on the elevator, a date, in a social environment? AWKWARD SILENCE.

Solution: Table topics. It's honestly one of our favorite tag-a-longs to events. Find yourself going deeper in conversation, leaving the "Where do you work" and "man it's cold outside" conversation at the door. (duh its the Midwest, NOTHING new there). You can fill 2 minutes with meaningless conversation, or you can fill hours with these as your guide.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our premier Financial Fiesta! We expected to have fun, but I don't think we could have imagined to have AS MUCH fun as we did. Thank you to our wonderful presenter Alison Fyhrie and our kick ass Chef, Rick Paniagua. The event made money saucy and everyone's Piggies came out looking spectacular. Even the guy with the crooked contouring.

If you aren't at our fiesta tonight, its ok, we won't take it personally. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't have your own fiesta! Anything that starts with tequila and ends with tequila is a good time.

Batch Margarita Recipe:
( 1 ) 750 ml bottle silver tequila (The better the tequila, the better the drink. Any of the 100 percent agave tequilas that are available in the market)
( 1 - 2 ) cups Triple sec or Cointreau
( 1 ) cup freshly squeezed lime juice, plus several tablespoons extra for ri***ng the glasses
Kosher salt for ri***ng the glasses
About a gallon of ice cubes
